Molti modelli necessitano di BIOS aggiornati per risolvere problemi di velocità di rotazione della ventola e/o per superare gli 862MHz di freq per la GPU. Alcuni produttori hanno rilasciato BIOS ufficiali, altri li inviano ai singoli utenti su richiesta (tra cui sapphire), altri ancora non hanno rilasciato bios ufficiali di alcun genere.
