Fremont, CA, December 19, 2003: Corsair Memory, Inc., a global leader in
ultra-performance DDR memory modules for PC gamers and enthusiasts, today
announced 2 Gigabyte TwinX memory modules which consists of a matched pair of 1 Gigabyte modules.

In response to demand from customers for fast, high density modules, Corsair developed the CMX1024-3200, an unbuffered 1 Gigabyte DDR module that is rated to operate at 400MHz (PC3200). Corsair will also offer the TwinX2048-3200, a matched pair of CMX1024-3200 modules. Based on 64Mx8 RAM
chips, these new parts support 3-4-4-8 latency settings. Both products are
available with either black or platinum colored aluminum heat spreaders that
enhance performance by keeping the components cool.

Both these new products have passed Corsair's exigent qualification process,
which includes extensive compatibility testing with a variety of PC3200
motherboards and chipsets. In manufacturing, every module is tested in a
motherboard at its rated speed and at its rated latency values. TwinX kits
are tested as a matched pair and physically packaged together immediately
after passing test, guaranteeing that the customer receives a product that
has been verified in the dual channel environment.

According to Corsair Marketing Director Joe James, "These products will be
well received by anyone doing graphics work like video editing, animation,
or simply using Photoshop. They offer the high density that memory intensive
applications demand, coupled with impressive performance." Until now, users
have had to choose between high speed and high density. But these new
products offer both.

These products enable people with Intel 875P-based motherboards to have up
to four gigabytes of main memory. These new parts will begin shipping
immediately to distributors and resellers worldwide
