Primi passi

Salve a tutti, finalmente ho un pc che mi permette di fare questa cosa per me sconosciuta, l'overclock.
Desideroso di portare un po + su la mia cpu un amd 4200+ (cmq le specifiche sono nella firma), ho utilizzato un tool che ho trovato nel bios per alzare le prestazioni, purtroppo non riesco a superare il 10%.
Vorrei porter arrivare almeno ad un 15-20% più. qualcuno mi sa dare delle dritte? Sia su come procedere sia su che temperature deve lavorare la cpu.

si sono sempre io , cmq meglio bz2 . posto tutto domani pomeriggio, domani se lavora

allora, il vcore è a 1.3, il bus non riesco a farlo salire oltre 220 e non riesco a trovare il northbrige(spero si scriva così), le ram le ho abbassate a 1.8.
unico problema, sopo che supero i 220 il pc si rifiuta di trovare gli hard disk e mi chiede un floppy oppure un cd. qualhce delucidazione?

preoccupante non ti riconosca gli hard disk. scaricati clockgen e valuta se, all'alzarsi del front side bus, aumentano anche i valori del bus pci e pci express che devono invece stare fermi a 33 e 100 MHz rispettivamente.
Nel caso in cui variassero, o la tua scheda madre non ha i fix oppure devi attivarli da bios.
Non fare ulteriori prove sino a quando questa questione sarà più chiara, rischi di rovinare dei componenti.

oppure prova con setfsb dovrebbe funzionare o le utility asus anche se non ricordo se mostrino frequenza pci e pciexpress

allora cercando un po' ho trovato che il tuo chipset i fix dovrebbe averceli. nel manuale della tua scheda madre purtroppo però non c'è niente di utile a riguardo. hai provato come ho scritto sopra? casomai un'aggiorantina al bios fa sempre bene in questi casi.

allora ho riscontrato questo problema, che dopo che tento un paio di volte ad alzare il clock mi mangia, nel vero senso della parola, il primo hd e non parte windows
è coem se mi mangiasse la partizione e non fosse + accessibile
